An antique Stern Brothers Brothers thimble from the late 1800s early 1900s. Well over 100 years old from a local estate collector. This lovely monogramed thimble has the initials RH on the front. It was hanging from a silver chain. We removed the hardware, so this can still be used or displayed. The thimble is in Good Condition with the exception of a tiny hole at top edge which was used for hanging. The hole is very small and is exactly the same size as the indentations at the top of the thimble. We did a light hand polishing and other than some remnants of patina it is a lovely antique thimble. It will polish up brighter if you choose to do so. We try not to over process any of our antique finds.
The thimble measures 19mm tall by 16mm wide and has the size 7 on the inside of the top as well as the Stern Brothers makers mark and the word "sterling"
